I didnât make it to work since I fell asleep on Taylin. I opened my eyes to being alone in bed. That made me feel some kind of way. Where the hell had he gone, and why hadnât he told me he was going somewhere? Getting out of bed, I went to take a shower. I washed my hair as well since it was sticking to my face.
My body was aching in all the right places, and I felt good as hell. Taylin put it all the way down in the kitchen. I probably wouldnât be able to look at my kitchen table the same again. With a smile, I shook my head.
After washing my body and hair, I stepped out of the shower with a towel wrapped around my body and one wrapped around my head. Going to the mirror, I wiped it off with my hand and peered into it. I could see the glow. I was going to blame it on the good dick I received. Removing the towel from my head, I grabbed the oil and my blow dryer. It was time to do something with my hair.
An hour later, I left my bathroom to enter my bedroom, dropping the towel I had around my body. As soon as I was about to put on my robe, a knock came at my door. If that was Taylin, he was going to get a good cussing out for leaving without telling me where he was going. After putting on the robe, I made my way out of the bedroom to answer the door. Looking through the peephole, I saw that it was my ex, Delvonte, and not Taylin at the door. I took a step back away from the door, and he began to knock again. I was hoping I could get away with him not knowing I was here. He knocked again more aggressively, scaring the living hell out of me.
If I didnât find out what his ass wanted, I didnât know how long he would be standing there, knocking on my door. I went to the door and snatched it open.
âMay I help you!â I asked with an attitude.
âHey, Debbie. I canât believe you still live here. I was wondering if we could chill for a bit. You know, for old timeâs sake. I could really use a friend and a listening ear. Iâm sorry for what took place at your store. That wasnât me.â
I nodded, not moving aside to let him in. It was quite creepy the way he showed up at my apartment. âItâs all good, Delvonte. But I donât think itâs a good idea for you to come inside my apartment. We should just cut our losses and be done. Iâm sorry for whatever youâre going through, but I have my own problems to worry about.â
He gave me a sad look before he bowed his head. I felt wrong as hell for inviting his ass to Namikoâs house last month. That shit was coming back to bite me in the ass.
